The Sacred 5-Step Bilona Process

We follow the ancient Ayurvedic tradition to ensure the highest quality in every jar:

  2. Curdling: The milk is naturally cooled and set into wholesome curd (dahi) overnight.

  3. Churning: The curd is hand-churned using a wooden bilona (churner) in a bi-directional motion to separate the butter (makkhan).

  4. Slow Cooking: The extracted butter is simmered on a low flame in a traditional vessel, allowing the water to evaporate slowly.

  5. Straining: The pure, golden ghee is filtered and allowed to cool naturally, developing its signature grainy texture.
